In early May of 2025, we quietly snuck out of Portland (after 17 years and a couple home/garden renos) to pursue an unexpected new project—restoring an 1876 Italianate Victorian farm house in a small town in the Southern Willamette Valley where we hope to slowly transform 4+ acres of grass into food, flowers, and hopefully a business one day.

As is our style, we’ve thrown ourselves into it with every scrap of free time we have, but we’re finally taking a breath to give a glimpse of this once-in-a-lifetime project that we’re so honored to get to work on and call home.

We’re still getting our bearings as we transition from urban to country, city to tiny town—especially as so much is happening in the world around us—but despite all that, we both have an undeniable feeling that being out here feels like coming home.
